Breastfeeding was always a choice I’ve been passionate and excited to get to do. I’m so thankful it’s going well and we’re starting to find a system while I’m transitioning back to work. Our nurse to bottle ratio is about half and half now. I’ve loved using the Medela Freestyle Pump and all the accessories that make it so easy for a working mom. Thankfully Walmart had everything I needed for a seamless transition. I introduced the Avent bottle at week three after breastfeeding was established. Navy has loved these from the beginning and has done really well. The nipple shape is very familiar for a breastfed babe so it was a great option for us. I use the glass bottle when we’re at home so I can easily throw them in the dishwasher and plastic for when we travel. Side note — these medela bottles are amazing for storing breastmilk – they work with pretty much every breast pump AND they’re dishwasher safe!
I use the Munchkin Shine Stainless Steel Bottle Brush every day! I love that the stainless steel isn’t super noticeable in our kitchen and I can trust that Navy’s bottles are actually CLEAN – it gets those hard to reach places.
