With my trip to London only a month away, I’ve recently been thinking about travel essentials and how to pack efficiently. After my last trip to NYC and excessive overpacking, I had a bit of a wake up call. Clearly I have an issue and refuse to be in the same predicament while in London. Rolling around three giant suitcases and multiple carry ons that are miserably overpacked is not a cute look.

So to start with the basics, I’ve recruited kate spade new york Francis tote as the perfect carry on. I love the Francis tote for many reasons but mainly the size is what sold me. Just big enough for all the essentials but not too overpowering to carry on your forearm. Inside my tote I was able to comfortably fit everything I would need for a long flight (minus a few things you would rather not see, toothbrush, eyedrops, etc). Here’s the breakdown…

  6. when you purchase boyfriend jeans, do you typically buy in your size, or go up or down? i have yet to find the right pair for me and i keep getting differing answers to this question.

    1. Hi Lan!

      I typically buy a size up. I usually wear a 2 but with boyfriend I will buy a 4. Occasionally certain brands (Rag & Bone) you won’t have to do that however, but with most I do.

  15. I love the outfit, and I LOVE that your reviews are actually reviews instead of “I like it” and “it’s great” like other bloggers. However, personally, I am just not on board with the whole see through bag trend. I know the clear bag in incredibility popular right now, but I think it removes this idea of privacy. Not that my cell phone and wallet are oh so very private, but still, the clear bags remind me of the ones some sales associates have to carry when they work in retail stores. But I love everyone thing else especially the tee!

  22. You’re coming here (London) in June!!! Good luck with the weather. Can’t wait to see what you come up with as the rain, wind and cold will not make for some cute outside pics like your NYC trip. Can you please find a nice hooded rain jacket? Unbrellas blowing down Oxford Street are no fun really.
