On Turning 37

On Turning 37

Birthdays have a funny way of sneaking up on you, don’t they? One moment, you’re celebrating 30 with champagne, planning trips and going out on a Wednesday, and the next Saturday nights in and a 10pm bedtime sound like bliss. But here’s the thing: this birthday feels different. It feels more significant, full of gratitude, and honestly, a little lighter.

At 37, I’m embracing a rhythm that’s uniquely mine. Motherhood has softened me in the best ways, but it’s also made me stronger, with thicker skin and a little more grit. My kids have this beautiful way of forcing me into the moment—reminding me to slow down, to laugh at the little things, to find joy in the chaos (and believe me, there is a LOT.)

And while the younger version of me might have measured success differently, now it’s about the little wins: showing up for my family, making space for myself, and learning to trust the journey.

37 feels like a chapter of confidence and clarity, but most of all, connection. With my family, my work, and myself. Here’s to celebrating that.
