If you have spent any time around here, you know I’m obsessed with everything merlot this season. And since outerwear is my weakness (and my signature) this leather jacket is my investment piece of the season. The Polish designer, Magda Butrym, launched her brand a decade ago, but you may have seen the (well-deserved) buzz building this season and for good reason. Her designs are rich in texture, elegant and edgy…when I saw this jacket I knew it was a forever piece for my collection.
I’ve worn it with everything from dark wash boyfriend denim and a tee to a dress for cocktails. Also, these are the Amazon shoes everyone’s been asking about - surprisingly designer-esque for a fraction of the price. And speaking of a high-low, I also rounded up some similar jackets that are a smaller splurge. The best splurges are the ones you will always reach for - and the ones I can see Navy wearing one day.
