I've always felt that what we wear tells a story—it's one of the reasons I fell in love with fashion in the first place. Over the past 14 years working in this industry, I've carefully collected and curated my wardrobe, with so many pieces tied to special moments in my life. When we moved into the new house, I was beyond excited to finally create a space where I could fully appreciate those memories..starting with a system and a highly critical edit! Emily and Emily (yes, both Emilys!) were absolutely amazing—so talented and, maybe most importantly, honest. When I asked if we should tackle the 80 pairs of denim, I wasn’t looking for a yes man (or woman), and thankfully, that’s not their style. Their approach was thoughtful, kind, and direct, which made the entire process feel like a true transformation from start to finish. They started by pulling every single thing out of the closet (cue mild panic ha). From there, they worked their magic—creating a system tailored to my lifestyle by sorting pieces by category and color, adding dividers where needed, and making sure the things I use most are super easy to access.
They also had so many genius tricks I never would’ve thought of—drawer dividers to keep small things in order, stackable trays for jewelry, creative belt storage, and a folding method that somehow makes everything look SEAMLESS. The center island now holds all my daily essentials—undergarments, workout gear, pjs, and even my riding clothes. And Madison? He’s thrilled with his four sections and most importantly, his sneaker collection got the spotlight it deserves.
The biggest win? I can finally see and appreciate every piece in my wardrobe, each one holding its own special story. It’s brought a new sense of joy and intention to getting dressed each day.
