In A New York Minute

Earlier this week, Navy & I made a quick trip to New York: a whirlwind 24 hours packed with so many memories I’ll be holding onto for a long time.

The biggest reason for the trip? Nēmah’s first billboard. Pinch me!!! Standing on the corner of 47th and 7th, right in the heart of Times Square, seeing our brand lit up like that- it was honestly surreal. It felt even bigger sharing it with Navy. It’s really important to me as a working mom to show her, when you work hard and lead with heart, big things happen.

Watching her take it all in was a moment I’ll never forget. We FaceTimed Mad to share the moment and I almost got emotional right there on the sidewalk. It just felt… really full circle. Really special.

We stayed at Hotel Fouquet’s in Tribeca, a stunning spot that brings just the right touch of Parisian charm to the city. Navy felt right at home, and the staff couldn’t have been been more amazing and kind.

We squeezed in a few New York adventures too:

  • The Color Factory was pure magic: all the bright rooms, interactive exhibits, and the ball pit were a five-year-old’s dream (and let’s be honest, I loved it too).

  • The American Museum of Natural History is a must (and I had never been!) You could spend days there and still discover something new. We had a super quick visit before the airport, but Navy loved it.

It was a quick trip, but such a meaningful one. And just a reminder: it’s never easy, but keep going, keep fighting, keep showing up. This one is for her. 💛
