RAIN

PinExt RAIN

After the fifth day of relentless showers I surrendered the idea of a summer cropped crochet and high-low skirt for another time and am happy to find my repeller fits as comfortably as I remember. I snagged this Anorak two seasons ago at H&M and love it more with each wear. I finished this look with a dark skinny tucked away in a leather boot and lightweight scarf.

Below are a few lightweight raincoat options similar to mine. My favorite is the Vince Camuto Chambray anorak and the price is amazing! Check out the links below the collage!

  4. Love this rainy day look – I’ll be recreating it when damp, cool weather settles in here.
Also love your loose, side-swept bun! How do you make it?

    • Hi Monica!! So glad you visited my site and thanks so much for taking time to leave a comment! I am definitely no hair expert and this side bun is kinda luck of the draw. To create this look, I teased all of my hair by using a comb and hairspray then twisted it up into a side and wrapped a thin ponytail holder around it twice. I then pinned it in down with bobby pins lightly and then pulled some of the hair out and created bumps at the side and top to make it look messy & causal. Hope this helps! I having gotten a lot of questions about creating this look so I possibly thinking about putting together a hair video to demonstrate! I’ll let you know if I do! Thanks so much for stopping by…have a great monday!

    • Hi Jessica! Thanks SO MUCH for visiting my site and taking time to leave a comment! The scarf is actually from a store called Sam Moons in Houston several years ago. I think it was literally like $5 or something crazy! Sorry I am not more help…I will keep my eye out for a scarf similar for you! Thanks so much for visiting Happily Grey!
